Being Withheld from going to the city because you have responsibilities A.K.A. a "Job" can almost ruin your social life or the chance of obtaining one. I could lament for hours about being deprived, but this isn't what this entry is about.
Today I went to the city to celebrate Melissa's Birthday. It was fun because nine of us went to Bryant Park to ice skate [my olympic dream], well most of us did. Walked to 42nd, to later change our mind to go to our previous destination; later to find out it was closed, then back to 42nd and finally ended up in McDonalds and 2 of us in Yoshinoya after thinking for a long period "what to eat". It was nice even though we wanted to go to an Asian restaurant, but I can't say I'm not happy about saving 30 bucks because I'm. It was nice being in the city. I'm hoping that after the christmas season I can go more often, especially Ice Skating.

awww ice skating!!! i love ice skating! sounds like you had a fun day. it definitely sounds like it was worth skipping work unintentionally for.
